CarlisleIT Debuts Innovative Avionics Coaxial Cables

The Able in Cable

Carlisle Interconnect Technologies (CarlisleIT) a division of Carlisle Companies, has debuted its ECS Lightning series avionics coax, which adds two new 50 Ω coaxial cables to its existing trusted lineup of ECS avionics cables.

CarlisleIT has innovated its avionics coax solutions to provide maximum performance in an extremely low weight cable. The two cables have silver-coated copper-clad aluminum conductors and helical aluminum shields to decrease the weight of the coax and minimize attenuation.

The Lightning series cables bring your signals through loud and clear without adding unwanted pounds.

CarlisleIT product manager Jeff Behlendorf stated: “Carlisle Interconnect Technologies is always pushing the limits of performance with our avionics coax products. The ECS brand cables have been the choice of aircraft manufacturers, avionics OEMs, and MROs for decades and the Lightning series continues to push limits even further with unmatched performance and industry-leading weight reduction.”

With its unique construction, the Lightning series improves on the performance of trusted ECS brand cables and maintains the trusted reliability of CarlisleIT products by delivering high output under challenging aircraft conditions without compromising integrity.

Each new cable has 24 standard connector options and comes with a laser-markable outer jacket to easily customize cable legends without secondary labeling.
