Aircraft Upset Prevention Initiative Undertaken

APS Partners with Leading Aviation Safety Auditors

2023’S NBAA-BACE event saw Aviation Performance Solutions (APS), a Mesa, Arizona-based provider of aviation safety training, announce its collaboration with leading aviation safety auditors, Wyvern LTD, Safety Operating Systems (SOS), Aviation Safety Compliance (ASC), and Aviation Safety Solutions (AvSafety).

The five concerns jointly champion Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT) programs, the principal and most effective means by which to train pilots to recognize and effectively contend with Loss of Control In-flight (LOC-I)—broadly considered the contemporary aviation industry’s primary fatal threat.

The newly-announced collaboration underscores a common aspiration to improve aviation safety.

Aviation Performance Solutions’s partnership with the aforementioned quartet of aviation safety auditors emphasizes Every Pilot In Control Solution Standard (EPIC-S2) compliant UPRT programs, and occasions progress on the parts of Safety Management System (SMS) implementation leaders striving resolutely to enhance safety of flight.

APS CEO Paul “BJ” Ransbury set forth: “Our mission at APS is clear: We Help Pilots Bring Everyone Home Safely. It’s an incredible honor for APS to harmonize solutions with these amazing auditors.

Joining forces to enhance aviation safety through risk-management is a testament to our collective dedication to the aviation community. Our commitment to Every Pilot Trained – In Control – All The Time underscores our aim to equip every operator in the skies with the skills and knowledge to navigate unforeseen challenges. Together, we’re unwavering in our dedication to elevate the industry’s safety standards, and we’re proud to showcase tailored EPIC-S2 UPRT solutions to mitigate LOC-I risks comprehensively.”

Trusted by major legacy air carriers, leading flight departments, insurance companies, military and government agencies, flight schools, and professional pilot owner-operators, APS is committed to reducing Loss of Control In-flight (LOC-I) accidents through top-tier UPRT training and resources.
