StandardAero Certifies Latest Rockwell Collins TCAS 7.1 Solution

TTR-4100 System Now Approved For Falcon 50 And 900 Series Aircraft Operators

StandardAero’s Houston, Texas business aviation MRO facility has completed its first Rockwell Collins TTR-4100 TCAS 7.1 Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for Falcon 50 series and Falcon 900 series aircraft.

Working in conjunction with Rockwell Collins, this new TTR-4100 TCAS processor replaces the aircraft’s existing TTR-920 processor and incorporates new 7.1 logic required to meet the Eurocontrol December 1, 2015 mandate. In addition to meeting the required mandates, the new 7.1 logic also enhances crew awareness of traffic situations and allows either aircraft to issue resolution advisory reversals in the event an approaching aircraft does not follow ATC or TCAS instructions to avoid a conflict.

StandardAero’s STC ST04048CH was completed the end of January 2016. StandardAero is anticipating a high demand for similar certified installations/upgrades from Falcon 50 and Falcon 900 series operators.

StandardAero is factory authorized by Rockwell Collins on many avionics and cabin updates. Offerings range from ADS-B solutions to Venue cabin entertainment installations on Falcon 50 and Falcon 900 series aircraft.

“StandardAero is factory authorized by Rockwell Collins. Our staff provides in-house engineering design, system integration and installation capabilities along with an FAA Organization Designation Authorization (ODA) in order to accomplish these types of STCs for our customers and industry partners,” said Jerry Sanders, Avionics Product Director for StandardAero Business Aviation.

In addition to a wide variety of avionics offerings, StandardAero also provides Falcon 50 and Falcon 900 series operators with OEM-authorized airframe inspections, completions, paint application as well as full engine maintenance, repair and overhaul.
