Just Married: Poly-Fiber & Randolph Products

Randolph Brand Will Continue

Poly-Fiber, Inc. says it's purchased the aviation division of Randolph Products, Inc. Randolph has manufactured coatings for fabric and metal aircraft since 1932.

Poly-Fiber will continue to produce and distribute the majority of products manufactured by Randolph under the name Randolph Aircraft Products.

"We want to ensure the users of Randolph Products that nothing is going to change," said Poly-Fiber manager Jon Goldenbaum. "We are going to continue to produce Randolph Products using the same formulas and distribute them through the same companies. In essence, the only change we will make will be to increase the level of production to keep pace with the demand for the product."

Manufacture of Randolph Aviation Products will be accomplished at Poly-Fiber's Riverside (CA) location. All major distributors will have color tinting machines at their location allowing them to produce colors in house. This will provide the customer with immediate access to all Randolph butyrate and Ranthane colors.

In a statement to ANN, Poly-Fiber said Randolph Products users should notice little, if any change as a result of this acquisition. The products will be marketed using the Randolph name with the same recognizable labels being attached to each can. Most products will be available to distributors within a few short weeks. Randolph dope products are used in conjunction with Ceconite fabric.
