Jeppesen, BridgeNet Team To Enhance Airport & Airspace Modeling Capabilities

BridgeNet To Use Jeppesen TAAM Data To Quantify Visualizations

Jeppesen recently entered into an agreement with BridgeNet International to provide its Total Airspace and Airport Modeler (TAAM) software to supplement BridgeNet's visualization and simulation technology used in complex airspace operations and airport environments.

"The TAAM solution from Jeppesen will complement our award-winning visualization and environmental analysis software by allowing us to create fast time simulations for our visualizations, and calculate the benefits resulting from changes to the air traffic management system," said Paul Dunholter, president of BridgeNet International. "The two software tools will enhance our ability to rapidly assess and communicate the benefits of airspace projects."

Jeppesen's TAAM solution is recognized as a global standard in the aviation industry. It is widely used by leading airports, major air carriers, civil aviation authorities, airspace planners and air navigation service providers, as well as by international aviation research establishments, system integrators and universities.

"We are pleased to welcome BridgeNet International to our global group of TAAM users and look forward to their continued contributions to the simulation community," said Chuck Steigerwald, director, Jeppesen Airspace Solutions. "Together, we will help BridgeNet quantitatively highlight the benefits of potential air traffic management changes through the power of TAAM simulation and data analysis."
