Frasca Sells CJ1+ FTD To Oxford Aviation Academy

Order Includes New Simplicity IOS

Frasca International has received an order for a second CJ1+ Level 5 Flight Training Device (FTD) from CAE Oxford Aviation Academy based in Mesa, Arizona. The FTD will simulate Cessna's popular light business jet. The FTD will be qualified as a Level 5 device and will feature Frasca's Simplicity Instructor Operator Station (IOS).

The first CJ1+ FTD was delivered in 2013. The two CJ1+ Frasca FTDs will support CAE's MPL (Multi-Crew Pilot License) program for Japan Airlines (JAL). The Mesa location also uses Frasca Piper Archer, Seminole and Diamond DA40 & DA42 FTDs.

CAE Oxford Aviation Academy is the largest ab initio flight training network in the world with world-class flight schools in seven locations including Mesa, AZ. Drawing upon over 75 years of pilot training expertise, CAE Oxford Aviation Academy Cadet Pilot Training Programs provide focused ab initio training to aspiring pilots across the globe.

The range of programs includes CPL, ATPL and MPL training routes, all of which combine premier ground school courses with high quality flying instruction delivered in accordance with national aviation authority requirements.
