OxfordSaudia To Receive New Simulators

Flight Academy Buys DA40, 42-VI Full-Flight Sims

OxfordSaudia Flight Academy is set to receive 2 Level 5 Flight Simulation Training Devices from Diamon Aircraft Austria.

Configured as a DA40 NG and DA 42-VI aircraft, the devices will be installed at the school's training center in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The units will contain authentic factory Diamond aircraft parts, with real avionics, high-end visual rendering, and OEM flight dynamics true to real life performance. Suitable for basic and advanced instrument, navigation, and procedural training, they are ideal for instruction, check flights, screening, and proficiency building much more affordably than live air time.

For students, learning the avionics while implementing their initial instrument training often causes issues when learning a system differing from the real aircraft. Off-brand sims, imitations, and web applications often fall far short of realistic, holistic flight sensation, resulting in a lack of motivation and sobriety in training. Diamond's training devices alleviate such concerns, with the most realistic flight experience possible. Genuine G1000 NXi's, standby instruments, and switchgear lifted directly from the Diamond fleet. To date, they are the only training device fully modeled on the Diamond aircraft, with proprietary, accurate Diamond data for optimal accuracy.

“It was important to choose devices that offer the highest degree of realism in order to maximize the efficiency of the training in a state-of-the-art program. We want only the best for our students in every area of the training program and the choice of flight simulators for OxfordSaudia Flight Academy had to match our philosophy for selection of our training partners, staffing and equipment. We are uncompromising in providing the students and instructors with only those products that have the latest technology from companies with a long history of providing the highest level of quality, maintenance support and service and Diamond meets those requirements.” said Captain Larry Wade, CEO of OxfordSaudia.

“This order represents our continuous relationship with our valued customer OxfordSaudia that has made one of the largest aircraft purchase agreements of 60 Diamond aircraft back in 2018. We are delighted about their very successful development and are proud to be part of this exciting journey to move the aviation industry forward.” stated Jane Wang, Sales Director, Diamond Aircraft Austria.
