In this report from the field, ANN news editor, Tom Patton, talks with the NTSB Chairman in a discussion that includes how the FAR part 23 rewrite may affect aviation safety. ANN CEO and Editor-In-Chief, Jim Campbell, talks with Mooney to find out that their latest aircraft is about a lot more than just an added door. The first U.S. made Airbus A321 airliner shows up at AirVenture 2016 in the colors of JetBlue Airlines. Made in Mobile, Alabama, it carries the moniker of BluesMobile. ANN’s Jim Campbell, talks with King Schools, and the subject of the new Airman Certification Standards comes up. It’s the third day since EAA AirVenture 2016 opened its gates, and ANN CEO and Editor-In-Chief, Jim Campbell talks with EAA president Jack Pelton about aviation policing its own business practices.
