NATA Fuel Summit 2011 Set For Next Week

FBO Success Seminar Series November 8-10 In Atlanta

The National Air Transportation Association’s (NATA) FBO Success Seminar Series will head to Atlanta, GA, on November 8-10 for a comprehensive Fuel Summit 2011 symposium. As part of the three day event, several major aviation oil companies and third party fuel brokers will join a lively roundtable discussion and field questions from FBO owners and operators in attendance.

“With the uncertainty of oil prices, FBOs are seeking ways to increase fuel sales while maintaining the highest possible margins,” said John Enticknap, president of Aviation Business Strategies Group (ABSG) and facilitator for the seminar. “At this Fuel Summit, we’ll examine the fuel market dynamics and offer strategies to help improve an FBOs’ bottom line.”

Aimed at FBO owners, operators, managers and financial personnel, the seminar will discuss vital topics including:

  • Seeking a Silver Bullet Solution. Is there a simple answer to managing today’s fuel pricing issues?
  • What’s in Your Tank? A session dedicated to strategies that increase and maintain best fuel margins.
  • Don’t Give it Away! Is it time for a new business model? FBOs can’t stay in business if they are giving away services.
  • Low-cost and no-cost promotions. Learn ways to promote your FBO without breaking the budget.

Other topical issues will be discussed including:

  • Lowering credit card interest rates.
  • Minimizing insurance premiums.
  • Developing a favorable lease.
  • FBO Legal Issues and Pointers.
  • Establishing long-term profitable customer relationships.
  • The Ultimate Customer Service Experience. Don’t Forget the Cheese!
