Textron Delivers 400th Cessna Citation Latitude

Longtime Customer Expands Fleet With New Addition

Textron Aviation announced the delivery of its 400th Cessna Citation Latitude since its certification in 2015.

The Latitude has been the most popular mid-size business jet the past eight years. Seating nine passengers with a flat cabin floor and 2,700 nautical mile range, the aircraft can fly from New York to Los Angeles or Vancouver to Guatemala City. It serves as a useful platform for a variety of applications such as personal, corporate, and charter transportation as well as air ambulance, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance (ISR), utility transport, aerial surveys, and training.

Simmons Foods, a family-owned and operated company in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, is a longtime Citation customer and was the recipient of this aircraft. With it, the company adds to its existing fleet of three Citation jets.

Todd Simmons, CEO of Simmons Foods points out, “Over the years, we’ve found that Citation jets mean business in every way. Our fleet of Citations has significantly enhanced our company’s operational capabilities, allowing us to serve our customers, employees and farmers more effectively. Guided by our family values of integrity, respect, hard work and innovation, the Latitude's performance and reliability are a natural fit for our business.”

Lannie O’Bannion, Textron’s Senior Vice President, Global Sales and Flight Operations said, “The delivery of the 400th Citation Latitude is a testament to the aircraft's superior design and a proud moment for our team. This milestone not only reinforces the Latitude's status as the leader in the midsize jet segment, but also underscores our commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction, setting new standards for comfort, efficiency and performance in the aviation industry.”
