Also: Women In Corporate Aviation, Brooke Owens Fellowship, Doug Jeanes, eFlyer 2

The Sporty's Foundation made bequests totaling $161,000 during 2020 to fulfill its goal to attract young people to the aviation community both as a career and a lifestyle.

The Foundation also supports organizations and museums that preserve the rich history of aviation for future generations -- with an apparent emphasis on aviation education activities. The Sporty's Foundation continues as a major sponsor of EAA's successful Young Eagles program from a financial commitment to complement Sporty's making its award-winning Learn to Fly course available at no charge to all Young Eagles. EAA is closely monitoring the FAA's and TSA's implementation of recent White House executive orders and other rulemaking about mask mandates to ensure that it does not inappropriately impact general aviation operations -- including flight training. Here’s something all you rotorcraft flight students can aspire to... The LA County Fire Department is looking for pilots for what they describe as an elite air fleet of Bell and Sikorsky helicopters... Think you qualify?
