Normally, journalists are sticklers for the facts.

That would be normally.

But there is one day each year when we can slip the surly bonds of reason and detail, and let our imaginations run ... well wilder than we might otherwise.

That day this year is Friday ... April 1.

Imagine a world where Donald Trump is the Administrator of the FAA, and a reusable rocket booster winds up at an Army/Navy Surplus Store; Where the FAA creates a registry for Canadian Geese, and commercials come to your ADS-B display.

Where precision rocket landings become an Olympic event, and you, yes you, can sound like the most seasoned airline captain when talking to ATC.
