KISS Kits Join '51% Club'

FAA Updates 'Approved' List

The following kit have been added to the kit listing since the July 23, 2003 Kit Update:

The Twin/KISS 13 kit along with the revised KISS 13/450 wing contruction (KISS 400 shown) manual dated November 2002, has been evaluated by the FAA, Manufacturing Inspection Office and has been found to be eligible with respect to the "major portion" requirement of 14 CFR part 21, subpart H, section 21.191(g).

The major portion of a completed aircraft may be fabricated and assembled by persons who will undertake the contruction project solely for their own education and recreation.

Therefore, an aircraft built from one of the kits identified in this message is eligible for airworthiness certification provided all necessary regulatory requirements are met.
