Aero-TV is premiering a new aspect to our video coverage, offering viewers the opportunity to preview one of our upcoming exclusive features. This aero-minute offers a sneak peek of our time with Matt Younkin at EAA AirVenture 2009.

Matt Younkin is renowned on the aviation circuit for having one of the most extraordinary acts around. Continuing the legacy of his father, legendary air show performer Bobby Younkin, Matt performs an astonishing aerobatic routine in the Twin Beech 18.

Pioneered by Bobby Younkin over 20 years ago, Matt spent remarkable time and effort learning the routine after his father’s untimely passing.

The breath-taking aerial routine continues to electrify crowds all over the country, both aviation enthusiasts and aerobatic experts alike. In addition, Younkin performs in several other routines featuring both a Decathlon and the 1929 Travel Air “Mystery Ship.”
