Significant Industrial, Financial, Commercial Progress Announced

Orders include 20 firm plus 20 options from Korean aircraft lessor Solyu, and an additional 20 firm plus 20 options from Marathon Airlines, a Greek charter operator and ACMI provider that may use them on regional routes connecting islands in the Aegean Sea.

Jump Air of Lithuania, also a charter and ACMI operator, signed on for 10 ERAs plus 10 options. And Safarilink, a Kenyan operator intent on the safari-related air travel market in East Africa, ordered six ERA aircraft.

AURA AERO also entered a strategic partnership with Amelia, a French charter operator, to explore the feasibility of using the ERA for regional operations.

The company was the first aerospace operator selected for the European Union’s Innovation Fund program, funded by the EU’s Emission Trading System that will allocate a total of €95 million to 85 decarbonization projects in 18 European countries.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis visited the AURA AERO booth and commended the company’s decision to make the state its base of operations in the U.S. The deal is supported by Space Florida with a $3.4 million investment for its new 10,000 square foot hangar on the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Research Park in Daytona Beach.

AURA AERO’s next phase will be an assembly facility to produce the ERA aircraft and a customer service center. This is also in line to receive funding to the tune of up to $200 million from Space Florida.

In still another strategic deal, AURA AERO entered a partnership with Munich, Germany-based electric aircraft startup Vaeridion to leverage the two companies’ complementary elements to accelerate sustainable aircraft programs of both companies.
