Launch Event Held For New Full Flight Sim In Dubai

Ansett Aviation Opens New Airbus A320 ceo/neo Training Center

Ansett Aviation Training held a launch celebration to showcase the opening of its brand new Airbus A320 ceo/neo full flight simulator at its recently-opened Middle East training center near Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Notable industry leaders who attended the launch included Capt. Ahmed Shanan, Chairman and CEO of Air Cairo, and Mikail Houari, President of Airbus Africa and Middle East. Ansett Aviation Training is based in Victoria, Australia, and its key partners were present including Tahnoon Saif, CEO of Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub along with the team from Dynamic Advanced Training.

The training center with its new simulator will provide the pilot training activities of Airbus operators such as Air Cairo. The training center already houses an ATR72-600 full flight simulator certified by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).

Mark Delany, Ansett Aviation Training Group CEO shared his passion for supporting industry leader’s such as Airbus and Air Cairo by noting, “It is a pleasure to support Airbus with its pilot training activities through access to our training infrastructure. Ansett Aviation Training always strives to deliver the highest standards to our customers and associating ourselves with Airbus was a logical move as we are both companies that put quality first. We look forward to supporting Airbus with any requirement it might have in terms of pilot training infrastructure.”

Captain Ahmed Shanan, Chairman of Air Cairo highlighted the training support saying, “Ansett Aviation Training has been a great partner in supporting Air Cairo’s pilot training requirements on the ATR72-600 fleet over the past year and we now look forward to expanding this to our growing Airbus A320 fleet training requirements.”
