Pan Am Int'l Flight Academy's CPD Division 2005 Seminar Schedule

The folks at PanAm Int'l Flight Academy note that, "For many, a career in aviation sounds exciting, intriguing and mysterious. While it is all of those things and more, the decision to pursue a career in the industry is also expensive and time-consuming. The Academy has found that a student who has thoroughly explored their career options before choosing a flight school is more successful in their career."

In an effort to help perspective students in their search for information or to introduce the idea of turning their hobby into a career, Pan Am International Flight Academy's Career Pilot Development division is hosting a series of free seminars that will explore subjects such as:

  • The state of the airline industry
  • A pilot's career path (opportunities for growth)
  • How to become a pilot
  • History of Pan Am International Flight Academy
  • Life as an airline pilot
  • Description of PAIFA's CPD program and admissions procedures

Representatives at the seminars will include school counselors, administrators, placement manager and a current airline pilot who has graduated from the Academy's CPD program (subject to schedules and availability). The 2005 seminar schedule is as follows:

DATE

Cleveland, OH 4/30/05  Hilton Cleveland South
Philadelphia, PA   4/23/05 Holiday Inn - City Line

Additional seminars will be held throughout the year in Chicago (May), New York (June), Oshkosh (July), Detroit (August), Denver (September) and Tampa (November). Prize drawings will be held at each seminar. Space is limited and registration is required.
