AirShares Elite Adds Tampa Bay Area

Two More Cities Served By Fractional Ownership Group

Airshares Elite has opened up its facilities in Tampa/St. Petersburg, FL, offering fractional ownership in Cirrus SR-20 and SR-22 aircraft.

"We are extremely excited about the addition of the Tampa Bay operation to the growing list of pilot markets currently being serviced by AirShares Elite" said CEO, David E. Lee. "It seemed only natural that AirShares Elite would look to service the Tampa / St. Petersburg metro area", Lee continues, "The first two cities in the world with regularly scheduled airline services now have a smart alternative to air travel."

The first fully equipped Cirrus SR22 will arrive on October 12th and aircraft will be based at St. Petersburg-Clearwater (KPIE), Sarasota-Bradenton (KSRQ) and Vandenberg (KVDF) airports. "We like to have aircraft on the ground when we enter a new market so that owners can see what they are buying and begin enjoying their purchase immediately" says Kevin Price, Regional Manager – Tampa.

"In addition to the Tampa aircraft, AirShares pilots can fly identical SR22s when visiting any of the other metropolitan areas we service, including Atlanta, Birmingham, Boston, Chicago, Detroit, Ft. Lauderdale, New York, Philadelphia, and Washington DC. With the expansion into Tampa, we’ll also offer special Snowbird packages for owners who split their flying year between two different AirShares locations" Price said.
