Tacoma Narrows Aviation Opens New FBO Facility

Corporate Air Center Was Phase Two For The Development Of The Company

Tacoma Narrows Aviation has completed its new executive terminal facility: the FBO’s corporate air center. The corporate air center includes 30,000 square feet of heated hangar space, 2,500 square feet of passenger and crew amenities, and 5,500 square feet of office space.

Guests to Tacoma Narrows Aviation will enjoy an abundance of amenities from the corporate air center, including: a hospitality area, a flight planning room, a refreshment bar complete with soda and coffee, a pilot lounge for respite, and a conference room for business.

Situated in a premier location on the airport field near the main gate, the corporate air center is now the pride of Tacoma Narrows Aviation, helping to fulfill the FBO’s goal of providing the finest flight experience in the Puget Sound aviation market.

“The new facility is a wonderful upgrade to the Tacoma Narrows Airport,” said George Swift, Tacoma Narrows Aviation’s owner. “It enhances the premium customer service that makes Tacoma Narrows Aviation a premier choice for the aviation community. We are proud to be the gateway to South Puget Sound and, with this new facility, we are now a more attractive option for both tenants and transient customers.”

The new corporate air center was phase two of development for Tacoma Narrows Aviation. In the spring of 2017, the FBO completed renovations on a hangar from the 1960s. The hangar now features new exterior and interior siding, lighting, windows, electrical, insulation and a fire suppression system, and has space available for both long-term and short-term leasing.

“We are an active member of this community,” said Swift. “As such, investing in Tacoma Narrows Airport’s infrastructure is a priority for us.”
