It's A Long Flight From Idaho To Florida ... In The Winter

Factory-Built KITFOX S-LSA being flown 2100 Miles To US Sport Aviation Expo

Stick and Rudder Aviation owner Paul Leadabrand is making the 2100 mile flight from Boise, ID to Sebring, FL in a 100% factory-built Kitfox LSA. One might think it's to escape what has been a fairly brutal Idhaho winter, but Leadabrand says the purpose of the flight is to show off the Kitfox's capabilities, reliability, and economy.

Leadabrand is making the trip alone, flying only VFR using just a Dynon SkyView and his iPad. He'll display his tailwheel-configured Kitfox in Kitfox Aircraft's vendor booth at the US Sport Aviation Expo in Sebring Florida January 20-23.

Stick & Rudder Aviation claims to be the only Kitfox flight training program in the world.

Bryce Canyon

Paul says "since he will have come all the way there - a short flight over to the Bahamas' for a few days of warmth will be a must!"

We can't disagree with that statement.
