Last Concorde Tickets Cost a Bundle

E-Bay Auction Brings $60,300 for Pair

We told you last week that there were a pair of tickets for the last commercial Concorde flight, for sale on e-Bay, the online auction site.

The bidding ended yesterday, and a bidder (with 0 history!) posted the winning bid: $60,300 for the pair.

Nine different bidders, most with no history of bidding on e-Bay, posted bids; "David L Hayes"(perhaps his real name) kept bidding up the price, and ended up on top of the heap.

E-Bay policy doesn't usually allow travel ticket sales; apparently the house thought this pair of British Airways tickets was just too good to pass up.

One really cool feature? There's free shipping!
