Executive AirShare’s Growth Prompts Move To New Corporate HQ

Now The Nation's Third-Largest Fractional Program

Executive AirShare’s rise to the third-largest fractional aircraft program has necessitated more staff. Which now requires more room. On April 1, the company moved its headquarters to a large facility in Lenexa, KS, able to accommodate Executive AirShares’ growing flight operations, sales, accounting and executive teams.

The aircraft, pilots and maintenance teams for Executive AirShare as well as its aircraft management and charter services subsidiary, Executive Flight Services, will continue to operate out of the Atlantic Aviation fixed-base operation (FBO). They conduct flights from the popular, conveniently located Charles B. Wheeler Downtown Airport. Not only is Wheeler Kansas City’s first airport, it continues to rank as one of its busiest. It offers 24-hour operations and sits across the Missouri River in view of the city center’s distinctive skyline.

“The Kansas City Downtown Airport remains an important home for us,” says Keith Plumb (pictured), Executive AirShare CEO. “Our shareowners love it as do we. That said, we look forward to a corporate headquarters that offers an open environment conducive for collaboration, meeting space for private negotiations and an optimal layout for hosting current and potential customers. The central location to all the surrounding counties in the K.C. metro area appeals to employees and will aid future recruitment efforts.”

Executive AirShare employs nearly 200, with 96 of those pilots. More than 40 employees will move to the new space at Pine Ridge Business Park, near the heart of Johnson County, one of the fastest-growing counties in the United States. The new address is 8345 Lenexa Drive, Ste. 120, 66214. It is only 15 minutes from downtown Kansas City. Natural terrain with prairie grasses, pine trees, rolling berms and green belts create a buffer from the bustle. The new headquarters offers Executive AirShare close to 10,000 square feet of office space with signage visible by approximately 165,000 vehicles traveling on I-35 each day. The company signed a five-year lease.

“Our new headquarters facilitates planned business and employee growth,” says Harry Mitchel, Executive AirShare COO. “Coupled with our ongoing presence at Wheeler Airport and locations in Oklahoma, Texas and New York, we feel well positioned for a continued upward business trajectory.”
