Travland Helicopters Located In State Capital
Enstrom Helicopter Corporation announced this week the latest
addition to its North American dealer network, Travland
Helicopters. Located deep in the heart of Texas -- Austin, to be
precise -- Travland Helicopters will be crucial in supporting
customers in the surrounding territory.
As evidence of the demand in this market, Enstrom notes Travland
Helicopters has already sold and delivered its first aircraft; a
fully loaded 280FX Shark, for a private customer in Dallas.
"Obviously, we are very excited to be an Enstrom dealer," said
Chris Travland, President of Travland Helicopters. "We can’t
think of a better way to grow our business and serve our customers,
and a better company to do it with."
The Travland family has been involved in the aviation industry
since 1939, and has been working with helicopters for the past 25
years. Along with new and used helicopter and aircraft sales,
Travland Helicopters provides a number of other services --
including highline patrol, pipeline patrol, surveying, ranching,
news gathering, and specialty work. The company also contains a
comprehensive flight training facility, with courses in basic
instruction, commercial, CFI, and mountain flying.
Travland Helicopters also maintains a 2007 Enstrom 280FX for
demos and training.
"We really believe this is going to be an excellent addition to
our dealership network," said Tracy Biegler, Director of Sales and
Marketing for Enstrom. "The Travlands have a long history in
aviation, and they understand what customer service is all about.
The high standards and level of proficiency that Travland
Helicopters has demonstrated over the years indicated their ability
to perform as an Enstrom Dealership. Their local knowledge and
experience will be invaluable as we move forward into this part of
the country."
