Diamond Intro's AGGRESSIVE Pricing For Garmin G1000 Equipped Diamond Star

There's PLENTY of news being made this week in Philadelphia. Diamond has chosen AOPA EXPO 2003 to announce pricing for its Garmin G1000 fully integrated glass cockpit equipped DA40 Diamond Star.

The introductory base price for a dual COM, dual Nav, dual GPS and HSI equipped IFR certified DA40-180 Diamond Star is $224,900, making it the absolute value leader of all IFR certified glass cockpit equipped aircraft.

Adding VFR Terrain Data, Weather Satellite Data Link and a Mode S Transponder with Traffic Information System (TIS) adds only $9,350!

No Kidding... That Price Is For Real

For under $250,000, Diamond offers a loaded Diamond Star, including the Garmin G1000 fully integrated all glass cockpit, Terrain data, Weather Satellite Data, Traffic Information, HSI and a Honeywell-Bendix/King KAP 140 autopilot with altitude preselect.

"We are thrilled to offer such an exciting package at such attractive pricing" said John Gauch, Vice President Sales and Marketing. "The G1000 equipped DA40 offers a perfect balance of safety, quality, performance, comfort, convenience, style, practicality and value, that make it a great personal aircraft at realistic costs. We are proud of the DA40-180's unblemished safety history and are the first to offer Garmin's landmark G1000 system, that will surely help to sustain this record."  With first deliveries scheduled for the end of the first quarter of 2004, firm orders are now being accepted.
