Aspen Avionics Named Part 23 Reseller For Lynx NGT-9000

Authorized Aspen Avionics Dealers Will Now Order These Systems Directly Through Aspen Regional Sales Managers

Aspen Avionics announced at AEA 2918 that it is now a Part 23 reseller of the Lynx NGT-9000, an ADS-B touchscreen transponder and multi-function display for traffic and weather. Aspen is also a reseller authorized for other leading Part 23 avionics including the Stormscope Lightning Detection System and ESI-500 Electronic Standby Instrument System.

“The addition of these products is a natural complement to the Aspen Avionics family of Evolution Flight Display Systems,” said Mark Ferrari, vice president of sales and customer support. “With these products, we will be able to better help aircraft owners and dealers alike understand the safety and situational awareness benefits of the combination of these three product lines with other Aspen products.”

The Lynx NGT-9000 system is an ADS-B solution that meets the upcoming FAA 2020 ADS-B mandate. The system is the first ADS-B touchscreen transponder to offer a software suite of NextGen situational awareness features, including traffic and weather data. The unit displays NEXRAD graphical and textual weather information as well as moving maps. Up-to-the minute Notices to Airmen (NOTAMS), Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFRs), and Winds and Temps Aloft data are also included.

Stormscope quickly and accurately provides real-time, flight-critical information about lightning and associated weather hazards. The ESI-500 is a compact unit that is scalable and comes standard with altitude, attitude, slip/skid, vertical speed and aircraft track.

Authorized dealers can order the systems directly through Aspen Avionics regional sales managers effective immediately. Published list pricing for these systems will remain unchanged.
