New Sportys DVD: 'Taildragger/Handpropping'

Here's a GREAT idea for a DVD...

Two programs by well-known flight instructor Larry Bartlett have been combined onto one DVD to educate pilots on taildraggers and handpropping. Taming the Taildragger is invaluable for today’s pilots who were trained in tricycle-gear aircraft and are preparing to fly a taildragger. The 45-minute program covers both three-point and wheel landings, with an emphasis on proper rudder and aileron control. Handpropping Light Aircraft demonstrates step-by-step the handpropping of the engine of a restored Piper J3 Cub.

With the proliferation of restored light aircraft and homebuilts requiring propping, this 20-minute program reintroduces standardized instruction in this hazardous procedure. Sporty's is one of the most respected names in aviation. With corporate activities in every segment of light aircraft from training to maintenance to Cessna new aircraft sales along with hangar space for more than 100 aircraft, Sporty's has evolved from the "World's Largest Pilot Shop" to "More Than A Pilot Shop."
