ThunderBirds Narrator To Visit Lakeland For Sun 'n Fun!

Local Aviation Students Get Chance to Meet Demonstrator at ACE Campus

Sun 'n FUN Aerospace Expo is on the horizon, with Major Jake Impellizzeri, the Advance Pilot and Narrator of the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds exhibition team making his way to Lakeland, Florida.

He'll meet with Sun 'n Fun officials to begin preparations for the upcoming performances in the 2022 Sun 'n Fun Aerospace Expo.

Once there, the pilots and support team will be greeted by an array of local aviation enthusiasts, from a crowd of high school students from The Lakeland Aero Club to the Central Florida Aerospace Academy. The subsidiary orgs under the Aerospace Center for Excellence, the Sun 'n Fun parent group, will begin putting the pieces into motion for the largest fundraiser of the year for the Center. Those funds go towards furthering the work of STEM programs, and scholarships for aerospace students, enabling engagement and education for over 60,000 youth per year to create the next generation of aviation professionals.

A press conference will be held after the performers arrive in Lakeland and meet with students. A photo op will be held at the Center's Warbird Ramp with both the Thunderbirds and students. Sun 'n Fun is just around the corner and so is ANN's Sun 'n Fun Digital Daily--along with some major new features!
