Quantity Discount? Charter Provider Buys 20 PC-12s

Pilatus Sees Success With Newest Generation NGX

Tradewind Aviation signed an order for a batch of 20 new Pilatus PC-12 NGX aircraft, almost doubling their current fleet of the type to 38.

The PC-12 has entrenched itself as the more effete, premium single-engine turboprop on the market, combining affordability, reliability, and capacity, with cabin furnishings upscale enough for the kind of clientele most common to private, chartered passenger service.

Tradewinds will put their new additions into service as charter and schedule shuttle aircraft in areas throughout the US and Caribbean.

Eric Zipkin, president of Tradewind, sees the aircraft as the next step to continue his company's prior growth.

“We are excited to grow our fleet of Pilatus PC-12 NGX turboprops and further our partnership with a well-respected industry leader.

The latest Pilatus enhancements will benefit our crew and clientele. We look forward to continuing to deliver excellent service to our clients and to Tradewind’s constant growth over the coming years.”

“Our customers value the reliability, performance, safety and innovation that the PC-12 NGX has to offer, and market demand remains strong," said Thomas Bosshard, CEO of Pilatus. "We are pleased to continue our partnership with Tradewind as they upgrade and expand their fleet, and look forward to celebrating their uninterrupted success for years to come.”
