Gulfstream Delivers 400th Aircraft From G650 Family

Milestone Highlights Aircraft's Superior Performance And Market's Continued Demand

Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. today delivered the 400th aircraft from the record-breaking, ultralong-range Gulfstream G650 family to a customer. The extended-range Gulfstream G650ER will be based in the U.S.

“Business jet travelers the world over have long recognized the G650ER as the leading combination of speed and range in the business aviation sector,” said Mark Burns, president, Gulfstream. “Its achievements and accolades have only mounted since its introduction, including an incredible 100-plus city-pair speed records, the prestigious Robert J. Collier Trophy and the title for the farthest, fastest business jet flight in history. We could not be more pleased to deliver the 400th aircraft in the G650 and G650ER fleet.”

The G650ER, entering service just five years ago, quickly gained recognition for its ability to connect far-flung cities at the fastest speeds. The G650ER offers passengers both style and comfort with the signature Gulfstream Cabin Experience, featuring 100 percent fresh air, the lowest cabin altitude in business aviation, quiet sound levels and 16 of the industry’s largest windows.

The G650 can fly up to 7,000 nautical miles at Mach 0.85 and 6,000 nm when flying faster at a high-speed cruise of Mach 0.90. The G650ER can fly up to 7,500 nm at the same long-range cruise speed and 6,400 nm at Mach 0.90. Both aircraft are capable of a near-supersonic maximum operating speed of Mach 0.925 and have a maximum cruise altitude of 51,000 feet.
