Aviation Job Aggregator Using Twitter For Postings

"Tweets" Are Then Sent On To Other Social Networking Sites

JSfirm, an online employment and resume search tools for aviation professionals, has started "Tweeting" job listings on the popular social networking site Twitter, which then posts them to other sites such as Facebook and LinkedIn.

According to Tonya Salatino, JSfirm Account manager, “Companies that post jobs on JSfirm.com automatically have those jobs circulated within this media. Our company members are very happy that they do not have to worry about ‘Tweeting’ their jobs themselves.”

When a company posts a job, it’s automatically sent to Twitter for distribution to thousands of followers. From there, it networks to MySpace, Facebook, LinkedIn, as well as various search engines. Prospective candidates are always led back to JSfirm.com to apply for the position. “There is a wealth of talent on social networking sites,” Salatino said. “JSfirm is bringing them to our company members.”

Salatino said distribution on social networking sites does not affect the membership fee structure for the company. JSfirm claims nearly 5,000 aviation companies use their web site to search for resumes and post their jobs.
