IADA Awards 10 Scholarships to Av-Biz Students

Aviation Industry Group Fosters the Next Generation

The IADA Foundation, the charitable 501c3 run by the International Aircraft Dealers Association has awarded 10 scholarships in its most recent batch.

Of the 10 selected, 4 students come from the academic track, working their way to graduation. The other 6 come from the industry already, being employed in the business aviation resale industry by IADA members. Their selection is a perfect example of the industry fostering the next generation, bolstering talent under its own roof to ensure a steady pipeline of qualified people well-versed in the unique focus of the av-biz industry. Scholarship awards are purely monetary, and lie anywhere from $1,000 to $5,000 in value.

"These great young professionals and students who are building their business aviation careers will be the industry's leaders in the future, and the IADA team is so very fortunate to be a part of their stories," said IADA Executive Director Wayne Starling. "We wish them well as their careers takeoff and they become the business aviation leaders of tomorrow."

Prospective candidates must work through their university's financial aid office to obtain a keycode to begin applications. The next deadline for an IADA scholarship is September 1st.
