It's Orlando's First Skycatcher

Grab A Peek At Cessna's LSA Saturday

Central Florida pilots, and wannabe's, curious about the new Cessna Skycatcher can have a close-up look at the airplane Saturday from 0900 to 1300.

Air Orlando Sales at Orlando Executive Airport has taken delivery of a 162, and will display it to the public in a Saturday open house at the Sheltair FBO Hanger. They promises "food and fun" and an opportunity to see the Skycatcher up close.

Cessna announced the Skycatcher at AirVenture in 2007, and partnered with Shenyang Aircraft Corporation (SAC), a subsidiary of the government-owned China Aviation Industry Corporation I (AVIC I) consortium of aircraft manufacturers, to produce the LSA.

The first 162 was delivered to Rose Pelton, wife of Cessna CEO Jack Pelton, in December of last year. If you're not going to be able to make it to Orlando Saturday, ANN flew the 162  in November of last year, to generally positive reviews.
