Bushliner 1850 Offers Upgrades

Skywagon Redux Gains 3 and 4-Blade Options

Bushliner's Cyclone 1850 can now be had with 3 and 4-blade MT propeller products, with and without reversing capabilities.

The new kit should add yet another dash of capability to an already capable aircraft, itself a spiritual successor, homage, or even replica of the venerable Cessna 185. Bushliner is careful to say their plane is a "completely new aircraft closely resembling the legacy Skywagon 185" and leave it at that. But owners and operators see a nifty amount of overlap in parts that fit their new Cyclones.

The MT props will "significantly enhance the aircraft's performance by providing improved take-off, climb, and cruise performance, better CGs, weight savings, and more precise and controlled landings." Even better for those backcountry operators, the addition of reverse capabilities adds an entirely new range of maneuvers to maximize takeoff length and seaborne operations.

Sisco Guadamuz, COO of Bushliner, was also excited for the collaboration. "Our partnership with Flight-Resource is a pivotal moment for Bushliner,” said Guadamuz. “We are dedicated to maximizing the potential of what our aircraft can achieve and providing pilots with the tools they need to excel in the most demanding conditions. MT Propeller technology with Flight-Resource will significantly contribute to achieving these goals."
