Long-Time ANN Sponsor Makes Sure That COPA 2010 Gets Covered RIGHT

The ANN coverage of COPA 2010 is now in full swing and live coverage of this august event will be taking place today and Saturday, in addition to a number of other coverage options. One of the reasons that such is possible is the many years that ANN has enjoyed the support of Cirrus Aircraft -- one of the longest running sponsors of the revolutionary news and feature coverage presented by the Aero-News Network.

This is a great week for Cirrus... as they announce a new generation of turbocharged SR22s, Cirrus is poised to maintain a leadership role that they've enjoyed in good times and bad. Its no wonder that the SR22 series is the world’s best-selling four-place airplane for eight years in a row.

The new Cirrus SR22T is a SMOOTH performer (the first thing we noticed in a one hour test flight last month), and offers an ALL-Continental turbo powerplant solution for the first time. Cirrus promises that the SR22T will bring quieter operation, lower weight, a smoother ride and many other refinements..."

The new powerplant integrates exceptionally well with the Garmin Perspective glass panel cockpit and the 2500 rpm limit makes for a quiet and fairly smooth ride in a number of flight regimes.

First deliveries of this new generation of Turbo SR22s starts next week, with prices starting at $475,000 and particuarly well-equipped aiframes going for $525,900.
