New Piper Has a Secret

...Until Later Today

We don't know exactly what's going to be revealed around lunchtime today (Tuesday), about New Piper Aircraft, but we can tell you that it's important.

What are the clues? Well, Chuck Suma, The New Piper Aircraft, Inc. President & CEO, will be making the announcement.

The announcement itself won't be made in the normal way, with a press release sent to the usual aviation sources; it will be delivered live and in person, in New York City, where aviation isn't a big deal at all -- unless there's financing involved.

One other way we know it's a major announcement: the invitation to the announcement itself says, "Major Business Announcement Regarding the Future of New Piper."

One other thing: although we often know what's going on behind the scenes from our fabulous corps of ANN News-Spies, this time, we really can't tell you anything.

Well, so far, we haven't said anything you can't figure out on your own. After the announcement is public, we'll bring it to you. Watch this space!

UPDATE: The announcement has been made, and we have bits of it, for you, above. As the story unfolds, we will be bringing it to you.
