CAE to Open Bizjet Training Facility in Central Europe

6 Full-Flight Simulators Coming Soon

CAE will soon expand its offerings in Central Europe, with an upcoming center sporting 6 full-flight simulators.

The exact city for the new CAE spot has not yet been divulged past a vague promise of "Central Europe", but should be open in the latter half of 2024, offering advanced pilot training for carriers throughout the region. CAE says the new spot will provide training for the gamut of business aviation, from the lighter end of the spectrum to large-segment bizjets.

“CAE’s new training centre in Central Europe will add much-needed training capacity in the region and bring us closer to where our customers operate their aircraft,” said Nick Leontidis, CAE Group President overseeing Civil Aviation. “CAE is expanding its business aviation training network in strategic locations to help the industry meet the global requirement for an additional 45,000 business aviation pilots over the next ten years.”

The new locale is just another fresh addition to the firm's expanding business aviation portfolio. Since the pandemic, private jet travel has surged, far outpacing the training infrastructure in place. CAE's most recent opening took place in Las Vegas, Nevada, starting April off with a brand new US West Coast-focused center in the same vein as the upcoming European facility. Additional business training is on the way, too, with another location set to open in Savannah, Georgia later this year.
