Piper Strengthens Global Sales Force

Hopes To Increase Focus On Fleet Sales Of Trainer-Class Aircraft

Piper Aircraft says it is strengthening its worldwide sales organization with an increased focus on direct fleet sales of the company's trainer-class aircraft while continuing to emphasize and expand its global dealer network for the company's M-Class and Twin-Class lines.

"We will have three regional senior sales executives supported by three regional sales managers that will be responsible for our growing dealer network for our entire aircraft product lines. In addition, they will handle fleet sales of training aircraft, as that part of the business expands to meet growing demand worldwide," said Piper Head of Global Sales and Business Development Drew McEwen.

Asia Pacific Region
Chuck Glass becomes Piper's Director of Sales for the Asia Pacific Region, with responsibilities for the regional dealer network and trainer fleet sales in the region. Glass was previously Director of Global Fleet Sales for the company. He is being supported by Jeremy Prost, Asia Pacific Sales Manager, located in Zhuhai, China, to assist in developing this important market for new aircraft.

Glass will be located in Vero Beach and travel extensively throughout the Asia Pacific Region. Glass has worked with the company since 2010. He is a retired U.S. Army fixed and rotary wing aviator who served as the U.S. Defense and Army Attaché in Dhaka, Bangladesh, during his career in the military. He holds Master of Science degrees from Kansas University in the U.S. and Madras University in India and is also a certified flight, instrument and multiengine instructor in powered airplanes. He has logged more than 5,500 hours of fixed and rotary wing flight hours and over 350 hours of glider flight time.

Americas Region
Hans Stancil is being named General Manager of Sales for the Americas, with dual responsibilities for the regional dealer network and trainer fleet sales in North, Central and South America. He will be supported by a Sales Manager position that will be filled soon. Stancil will manage the Americas and travel from Piper's headquarters in Vero Beach.

Stancil has worked as a Sales Manager at Piper since 2010 and during the past three years he has managed worldwide fleet sales and dealer development in North and South America. Stancil holds a bachelor's degree in Business Marketing from Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, Georgia. He is also a commercial pilot with multiengine and instrument ratings with more than 400 hours of flight time.

EMEA Region
Enrico Evers, Piper's Director of Sales for EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), now has dual responsibilities for this region's dealer network and trainer fleet sales. He, too, will be supported by a Sales Manager position to be named soon. Evers is located in the Netherlands, and he travels extensively throughout the EMEA region.

Evers has been in his position since 2010. He is an experienced international sales executive with more than two decades of aviation experience. Evers holds a FAA PPL Single and Multi Engine Land, IFR and a European JAR/FCL SEP including CRI (Class Rating Instructor) and TMG (Touring Motor Glider).
