Air Bravo Accepts First Cessna SkyCourier In Canada

First Delivery For Large-Utility Twin-Engine Turboprop

Textron announced its first delivery into Canada of its large-utility, twin-engine turboprop Cessna SkyCourier, to Air Bravo Corporation, a passenger, cargo, and air ambulance flight service operator with bases in Thunder Bay, Sudbury, Barrie, and Meaford, Ontario. Its primary mission will be transporting cargo throughout the region.

The SkyCourier is single-pilot capable and so is an ideal solution for air freight, passenger, and special missions. Its configuration can by adjusted as needed and this adaptability makes it capable of completing almost any mission.

With its flexibility and its ability to operate in support of a wide range of activities in remote areas, it provides a solid return on investment.

Rick Horwath, President and CEO of Air Bravo said, “We’re proud to be the first SkyCourier customer in Canada, and this aircraft is a perfect fit for supporting the cargo side of our business. The aircraft has a roomy cockpit, it’s easy to fly and the avionics are user friendly. We look forward to putting it to use.”

Lannie O’Bannion, Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Flight Operations for Textron Aviation said, “The SkyCourier is a versatile aircraft, with cabin flexibility, high payload capability and performance and low operating costs. It has quickly proven to be an excellent choice for a wide range of missions. We look forward to seeing Air Bravo utilize the aircraft to support and enhance their business operations.”

Air Bravo was founded in 2001 and has grown into one of Ontario’s most successful air carriers, offering reliable passenger, air freight, and air medical flight services to just about any airfield in North America.
