Aero-News: Quote of the Day

ANN's Quote of the Day usually derives from current news, though we reserve the right to pick quotes out of history that have a bearing on the day's events and issues.

Sometimes, you'll find them timely and in keeping with the content of the day's news... and sometimes, they'll just be thought-provoking.

Reader suggestions and comments are welcome... and if particularly intriguing, timely, or poignant, may themselves become future Quotes of the Day.

Let us hear from you, folks!

Aero-News Quote of the Day

“As our community grows, we understand the importance of offering our members training partners that have the ability to deliver the highest level of training and adapt to an operation’s specific and ever-changing needs. LOFT is a natural partner to add to our portfolio with its track record of experienced simulator pilot training, as well as the significant number of AVIAA members operating the Citation jet. Insurance and crew training are critical operational pillars where AVIAA delivers economies of scale to members.”

Source: Matthew Smith, AVIAA Chief Business Development Officer, commenting as they added LOFT as another strategic partner for its membership.  For the past 15 years, LOFT has provided experienced flight instruction to Cessna Citation and CJ pilots through the entire training process. Its unique Part 142 simulator training program, based in Carlsbad, CA will now be offered to the growing number of AVIAA members operating Citation C Series business jets.
