Helinet Aviation Named AW109 Authorized Training Center

Will Support Multiple Variants Of The AgustaWestland Aircraft

Flight services company Helinet Aviation has been named an Authorized Training Center by AgustaWestland for the manufacturer's AW109 E and S models.

Helinet's training facility will provide both initial and recurring training on the AW109 E and S with a customized, mission-specific approach designed to support its pilots key objectives. Headquartered in Los Angeles with its mix of high altitude mountain terrain, expansive deserts, diverse coastal environment and urban sprawl, Helinet is able to offer training across a full range of operating environments - from the helipads in the high-rises of downtown LA to the high elevations of the San Bernardino Mountains to the Mojave desert and the Pacific Coast.

"With the largest fleet in the industry and the accommodating Southern California weather, we can offer pilots a comprehensive training regimen with 24/7 aircraft availability," said Helinet president Alan Purwin. "We are honored to be selected by AgustaWestland as an Authorized Training Center and look forward to providing organizations and aviation professionals from around the world with industry-leading training solutions."
