Vector Aerospace Signs Long-Term Agreements With Australian Companies

Deals Made With Broome Air Services And Hinterland Aviation

Vector Aerospace has entered into an exclusive long-term engine service agreement with JNP Enterprises, owner of Broome Air Services (BAS), based in Western Australia and Hinterland Aviation, based in Queensland (QLD), Australia.

As per the terms of the five-year agreement, Vector Aerospace will provide comprehensive engine MRO services in support of the combined BAS and Hinterland Aviation fleet of Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) PT6A turboprop applications, including the Cessna 208 Caravan, Beechcraft King Air B200 and Beechcraft B1900C, along with several other piston-powered light aircraft . Vector will provide these services from its P&WC authorized PT6A Designated Overhaul Facility (DOF) in Brisbane, QLD, Australia.

“I am very pleased to sign this agreement – an agreement which gives me confidence and peace of mind knowing that I have the full support of Vector's in-country engine MRO capabilities and expertise,” says Peter Christoudias, Managing Director of JNP Enterprises. “When deciding about committing to the exclusivity with Vector Aerospace I first spoke to Hinterland Aviation, and it was a simple decision based on Hinterland’s impressive feedback regarding the outstanding customer service provided at Vector’s Brisbane facility.”

“This agreement represents the efforts of our entire team in Brisbane and reinforces our solid position in the Australian marketplace. We have the diverse capability to accommodate JNP’s specific engine service requirements, and the detailed product knowledge and experience to meet their expectations,” said Jeff Poirier, President of Vector's Engine Services - Atlantic division.

PT6A MRO services provided by Vector under the agreement will include engine repair, hot section inspections, testing, modifications and overhaul services.
Operators in the Asia-Pacific region also benefit from the support of Vector’s Mobile Repair Team (MRT), which is available to provide on-site repairs at customer locations as well as responsive aircraft on ground (AOG) support.
