EBAA Launches First Dedicated Emergency Response Planning Workshop

Meeting To Be Held Next Month In Belgium

The European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) will hold its first EBAA Emergency Response Planning (ERP) Workshop in Brussels, Belgium September 9th and 10th. EBAA says all parties with an interest in business aviation in Europe are invited to participate.

The workshop will provide operators with guidance on what is required in the aftermath of a major incident or accident. Aligned with the recently released EBAA Emergency Response Guidance Manual, developed by EBAA and Gates Aviation LLP, together with members of an internationally-based ERP Steering Group, the workshop is laid out in three sections:
SECTION 1 - ERP Basic Principles
SECTION 2 - ERP General Guidance
SECTION 3 - ERP Framework

“At the end of the workshop, business aircraft operators will not only have learned what is required of them in respect of emergency response planning but participants should also walk away with an actual draft plan written around their business needs,” explains Brian Humphries, President and CEO, European Business Aviation Association.

Interested operators can contact the EBAA to order their ERP Guidance Manual and register for the workshop.
