Paying Less For CFI Recert

AOPA Air Safety Foundation And Jeppesen Reduce Cost Of Online CFI Revalidation

Effective immediately, the cost of the acclaimed AOPA Air Safety Foundation-Jeppesen CFI Renewal Online program drops from $149 to $119. The fee includes processing all paperwork and issuing a temporary certificate. The new price makes the program an outstanding value with top quality education at the lowest inclusive price of any online provider.

"Our online renewal course for certificated flight instructors is convenient, comprehensive, innovative, and easy to use," said ASF Executive Director Bruce Landsberg. "Taking the course online allows an instructor to work at his or her own pace in any convenient location."

The new, lower-priced CFI Renewal Online combines a wealth of knowledge from two of the leading providers of Flight Instructor Refresher Courses - the AOPA Air Safety Foundation and Jeppesen Sanderson. ASF-Jeppesen's CFI Renewal Online offers the most up-to-date information for instructors working in today's challenging flight environment.

The program is fully FAA approved, and can renew valid flight instructor certificates and ratings, help instructors-to-be prepare for their initial CFI certification, and can renew Chief Instructor designations specified in 14 FAR 141.79(c). The 16-unit course includes both core- and special-emphasis lessons in accordance with Advisory Circular 61-83.
