To Develop New 17-Acre HBO Campus For Business And Private Aircraft

Sky Harbour Group Corp., an airport infrastructure company and builder of Home Base Operator campuses, announced it has executed a ground lease with the City of Long Beach, California, for the development of a Sky Harbour HBO campus at the Long Beach Airport (LGB) to serve the Long Beach, Orange County, and greater Los Angeles area.

Sky Harbour’s campuses are not just hangars – they are for based aircraft and come with dedicated services such as ground handling, ramp and automobile parking, office space, completely customizable and climate-controlled spaces and services remotely accessible through a smartphone app, 24/7 maintenance and storage access, and are fully private.

Tal Keinan, CEO of Sky Harbour said, “Long Beach has successfully established itself as a hive of innovation, most notably in the aerospace technology sector. Business aviation will increasingly power business innovation and economic growth in this community.

“The City of Long Beach, with the strong leadership of Mayor Richardson, Councilwoman Kerr, and Aviation Director Cynthia Guidry, has been an outstanding partner to Sky Harbour, welcoming Sky Harbour to what is already one of the nation’s largest and most dynamic business aviation markets.

“We are committed to delivering another best-in-class facility, upholding the new gold-standard for safety, security, and efficiency in business aviation, to the benefit of the citizens of Long Beach, Orange County, and Southern California.”

Cynthia Guidry, Long Beach Airport Director said, “We’re delighted to welcome Sky Harbour to Long Beach Airport. This agreement underscores Long Beach as an important hub for business aviation, which brings investment, jobs, and revenue directly into the City and communities throughout our region.”
