AEA Introduces Pilots' Guide to Avionics

The Aircraft Electronics Association (AEA) introduced a new publication for pilots at the 46th Annual Convention and Trade Show Thursday.

The Pilot's Guide to Avionics is a comprehensive, four-color guide that will feature numerous articles aimed to help pilots make better buying decisions in the field of avionics.

The colorful, spiral-bound guide will also include a detailed section of technical descriptions of avionics, and a directory of government-certified avionics and instrument shops. This guide will be the information source for pilots everywhere, and will be distributed at Oshkosh, the NBAA Trade Show, the AOPA Expo, Helicopter Association International Expo, Women in Aviation Conference, and, of course, all AEA meetings. It will also be circulated to numerous flying clubs.

The Pilot's Guide to Avionics will be kept as a reference guide and updated each year -- a one-stop  source of information for consumers (the flying public) who buy avionics products and services! The first guide will be introduced at EAA Airventure in July 2003.
