Boeing has acquired full ownership of Wisk Aero, the California-based, Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) joint-venture undertaken by Boeing and Kitty Hawk Corporation. Kitty Hawk’s sale of its stake in Wisk follows the company’s 2022 decision to abandon work on its aviation and aerospace ventures and gradually shutter its operations in their entirety. A SpaceX Dragon spacecraft carrying several thousand pounds of critical scientific hardware and crew supplies is on its way to the International Space Station. National Rifle Association (NRA) executive and conservative donor Barbara Rumpel confirmed late Sunday, 04 June 2023, that her daughter, granddaughter, and a nanny had lost their lives earlier in the day when the Cessna 560 Citation V on which they were traveling from Tennessee’s Elizabethton Municipal Airport (0A9) to MacArthur Airport (ISP) on New York’s Long Island went down in mountainous terrain in the vicinity of Montebello Virginia. On May 21, 2023, about 1447 eastern daylight time, a Cessna R182, N182LG, was destroyed when it was involved in an accident near Macon, North Carolina. The private pilot was fatally injured. The airplane was operated as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91 personal flight.The airplane was departing on runway 18 at Nocarva Airport (NC10), Macon, North Carolina. Runway 18 was 1,900 ft long, 100 ft wide, and consisted of a turf surface.
