SpaceX Launches 60 Satellites For The Starlink Constellation

Recovered One Of Two Fairings At Sea

SpaceX successfully launched and deployed another 60 satellites for its Starlink constellation, which the company hopes to use to offer broadband internet access.

The rocket left the ground at 9:06 a.m. Wednesday from Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida. It was the second launch for the company this month.

The launch had been planned for last week, but strong upper level winds and then rough seas forced postponement of the mission until Wednesday.

The booster, which had previously launched a Dragon resupply capsule to ISS, was successfully recovered at sea on the drone landing platform "Of Course I Still Love You". One of the two second stage fairings was also captured as it returned to Earth by "Ms. Tree". A second fairing was not recovered.

The Starlink project is designed to provide uninterrupted access to the Internet worldwide.
