Lee Aerospace Will Highlight Coolview Technology At NBAA

Window Replacement Technology Blocks Heat-Producing Infrared Light

Lee Aerospace will provide business aircraft operators with a “cool view” of its new window technology option, CoolView, at the National Business Aviation Association-Business Aircraft Convention and Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) in Orlando, FL.

“We’re really pleased that we have this opportunity to highlight this revolutionary technology at the world’s foremost business aviation gathering,” said Jim Lee, the company’s founder and CEO.

“CoolView is really a ‘step up’ in window replacements,” Lee continued. “Testing by independent entities have proven that its innovative design blocks up to 62% of the heat-producing infrared rays coming through the windows—and virtually all of the harmful UV rays. That means the cabin environment will be much cooler.”

The production process for CoolView involves the fabrication of an internal metallic barrier rather than the application of an external coating that’s typical on current windows. In addition to more comfortable cabin, CoolView technology provides a safer environment for health-conscience pilots and passengers. The CoolView protection reduces pilot fatigue and preserves aircraft interiors. CoolView windows also create a striking appearance from the exterior as well.

Lee Aerospace has indicated that it will install CoolView replacements virtually anywhere on the globe.  “We operate an FAA certified repair station for repairs and installations and our A&P mechanics and FAA certified technicians will travel wherever they’re needed to install the windows and get the aircraft immediately back into service with a minimum of down time,” Jim Lee explained.

“We will also be announcing a significant development regarding a new CoolView application at our press conference, too,” Lee stated.
