Bambi Breaks In: Forest Creature Penetrates Security At O'Hare

At Least The Buck Had No Bomb

A young male deer is recovering after authorities at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport trapped him inside Terminal Two.

The deer apparently entered an unsecured automatic freight door on the terminal's lower level and briefly approached the baggage claim area. No passengers were around, according to airport officials, who used a section of plastic fence to corner the frightened -- and possibly wounded -- animal.

Animal control officers arrived and tranquilized the deer. He was then taken to a vet's office for a thorough exam.

Rumors that the deer was stunned after objecting to a TSA pat-down search have not, at this point, been confirmed.
