Six Women Receive Assistance To Further Their Educations
The Women in Corporate Aviation (WCA) has announced six winners in their spring scholarship program.
The Spring Scholarship winners include:
Didi Aranki - Dassault Falcon Jet Corporation Scholarship (Value $1,000)
Linda McGurin - DaVinci Inflight Training Institute: Butler Service in The Sky Scholarship (Value $1,550)
Dimitra Nika - DaVinci Inflight Training Institute: The Culinary Experience Elite Scholarship (Value $4,775)
Sarah Kiley - KAL Aviation Services Ltd. Maintenance Technician Training Scholarship (Value $1,000)
Rachel Cuthrell - USC Viterbi Human Factors in Aviation Safety Scholarship (Value $2,500)
Joy Forrest – Women in Corporate Aviation Career Scholarship (Value $2,000)
“Thank you again to our generous supporters,” said WCA president Andrea Garcia. “We are excited for our scholarship recipients and looking forward to introducing them at our annual event in March."
Women in Corporate Aviation is also proud to announce their representation at the Women in Aviation International Annual Convention March 14-16th, 2019 in Long Beach, CA. WCA invites you stop by their booth (#615) during the convention, as well as attend their networking event, annual meeting and career panel
- “Bringing Business Together”, presented by WCA, Desert Jet, and NBAA. A FIRST-time joint networking event. Thursday March 14th, 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm at The Federal Bar in Long Beach.
- WCA Annual Membership Meeting, Friday March 15th, 10:45 am – 11:45 am. Located in the Long Beach Convention Center, Room 102A. Guest speaker, Maryjane Harris D.O. Fellow Aerospace Medicine with the Mayo Clinic.
- Business and Corporate Aviation Career Panel, Friday March 15th, 1:45 pm – 2:45 pm. Located in the Long Beach Convention Center, Room 201. Moderated by Ava Shubat.
